As of today, the Skin Factory is officially closed. I apologize to anyone still visiting my little site, but due to the heavy-handed tactics employed by Marvel Entertainment, Inc. against my affiliate site, the Skindex, I feel that it's prudent to do so, as the bulk of my skins were of Marvel Comics characters.

Truth be told, ny heart hasn't been in skinning for a long time, as was obvious by the lack of updates. I've also been having bandwidth and hosting difficulties, so the C & D letter from Marvel to the Skindex was the straw that broke the llama's back. I will still be active at the Comic Skins Network site and the CSN Messageboards, and I might, at some time in the future, make my non-comic skins and objects available again, but it's not likely.

If you've downloaded my skins, neither I nor Marvel can tell you to stop using them in your game, but I request that you do not distribute them or make them available for downloading anywhere else. Thank you, and it's been a great three years for the Skin Factory.
